Services Offered

I offer trauma-informed therapy in a safe, supportive space for clients navigating anxiety, family challenges, struggles with faith, or life transitions.

My approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Brainspotting.

Individual Therapy Sessions

One-on-one therapy tailored to your needs, whether you’re navigating anxiety, trauma, family dynamics, religious trauma/questioning, or life transitions. These sessions provide a safe, supportive space to explore patterns, build insight, and develop tools for healing and growth.

Sessions are typically once weekly, with options to choose bi-weekly or once monthly check-ins.

What to Expect in Your First Session

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know one another. We’ll talk about why you chose therapy, what you’re hoping to gain from therapy, and any questions or concerns you may have. Intake sessions tend to be a little more clinical, so this is the time I will gather a lot of vital information to help me understand your history and how to best help you. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—this time is about understanding your needs, setting a direction together, and making sure therapy feels like a good fit for you.

Brainspotting Therapy Sessions

Brainspotting is a trauma-informed, brain-based therapy that helps access and process experiences stored deep in the nervous system. It is an optional approach for clients who want to process trauma, and it supports healing from anxiety, emotional blocks, and overwhelm, working at a pace guided by your body and brain. If you want to discuss using this deeply healing modality, we can explore this in a consultation or at your first appointment. Want to know more about how this specific modality works?

Trauma Focused Therapy

Some experiences stay with us longer than we expect. You may notice old memories showing up as anxiety, shut-down feelings, people-pleasing, or difficulty trusting others. Trauma therapy helps you gently work through what happened so it no longer has so much control over your thoughts, emotions, or relationships. Healing doesn’t mean forgetting—it means learning how to feel safe and whole again.

Brainspotting

Sometimes talking isn’t enough. Brainspotting is a brain-body approach that helps your nervous system process what it’s been holding onto, often beneath the surface. It can be especially helpful when you feel “stuck,” overwhelmed, or know something is there but can’t quite put it into words. Many people find that it allows relief to happen in a deeper, more natural way.

Anxiety & Mood Support

If your mind feels constantly busy, your body feels tense, or your emotions swing in ways that feel hard to control, you’re not alone. Together, we work on understanding what sets these reactions off and learning practical ways to calm your body and mind. The goal is to feel more steady, grounded, and able to move through daily life with more ease.

Family Estrangement & No-Contact Support

Being distant or no longer in contact with family can bring up a mix of grief, guilt, relief, anger, and confusion—sometimes all at once. You may question your choices, feel misunderstood by others, or struggle with holidays and life milestones. This work focuses on helping you process those emotions, set healthy boundaries, and find peace with the path you’ve chosen. Healing doesn’t require reconciliation—it means learning how to move forward without carrying the weight alone.

Christian-Informed Counseling (Optional)

For clients who want to include their faith in therapy, sessions can gently incorporate Christian values, prayer, or spiritual reflection—at your comfort level. This is always optional and guided by what feels supportive to you. Faith can be a meaningful source of strength, hope, and healing, and it’s honored in a respectful, non-forced way.
